Chika Muna! – Jockey Reynaldo B. Bailon

I ran into Reynaldo B. Bailon today, a veteran jockey and exercise rider. I’ve known him for 17 years. His left arm was in a sling, a three-inch scar ran down the shoulder, so I asked him for an update on how he’s doing.

What happened to your arm?

What is the extent of your injury?

When will you be able to ride again?

What other injuries have you had?

What’s your mindset now? – “Gusto ko nang mag-resign [from riding]. Mahirap kasi accident-prone ako. Kung puede lang.”
