New PRC’s Stables Rising Fast

The Philippine Racing Club (PRC) recently announced the near-completion of the “demonstration units” of stables at their new facility.

Located at the Saddle and Clubs residential and leisure park in Trece Martires, Cavite, the new PRC facility sprawls over 70 hectares, an area more than triple that of the present Makati racetrack.

The first phase of the development includes an initial 74 stable buildings (to be expanded to 131 later), a grandstand, three racetracks (one of which is an 800-meter training track), and an in-field access tunnel.

Around 80% of the stables have already been reserved by horseowners. Allied facilities to the stable complex include receiving stables, a holding and testing barn, paddocks, and an equine pool.

Construction of the facility is scheduled to be completed by June 2008. ***

(PRC is now accepting reservations for lease of the Cavite stables. Please contact Lino Marcilla at 897-6489 or 890-4015 local 850.)
