KL: 4th Tumbok Cup, sa Linggo Na!

KARERA LANG!  By Jenny Ortuoste for Tumbok,  24 October 2008, Friday

4th Tumbok Cup, Sa Linggo Na!

“We thank you for your concern for the children who had been abandoned and left in the streets, children who are neglected, abused, and marginalized.

“We thank you for believing in the children and in the young, by investing in our children’s present and future capacities, by encouraging us to strive for excellence in our care for the children and the youth who will be the men and women of tomorrow.”

Adding spice to the Tumbok Cup is the Japan Racing Association stakes race.

The renewed rivalry between Empire King and Real Spicy, Real Spicy and Native Land. Noted stakes race campaigner and winners. It might serve as a preview of the Presidential Gold Cup or the forthcoming Amb. Eduardo Cojuangco Cup. They will be challenge by noted imported gallopers like La Tienne, Fairy Queen, Midnight King, Great Emma, Quiet Gal, Dancing Polly and Yo Tedigo.

It will be more interesting if Copper Dew and Drama Belle were included from the blockbuster line-up.

Real Spicy came from a hardearned victory last Mr. Sutter Cup against Drama Belle, Midnight King and Million Dollar. Native Land had a disappointing finish. Empire King is coming of from a long vacation. La Tienne almost had a close finish against Ziraz in Golden Girls Stakes Race. Fairy Queen won in the Marho trophy race.

    Goodluck! and Happy racing.
