Philracom Advisory: Pearl I Stakes Distance

With the change of venue for this week’s races from San Lazaro Leisure Park to Santa Ana Park, the Philippine Racing Commission reminds racegoers that the distance for the Pearl I Stakes on Sunday, June 1, will be 1800 meters instead of the formerly-announced 1750 meters as there is no chute for the latter distance at Santa Ana Park.

With the distance longer than expected because of unforeseen circumstances, will Copper Dew, regarded as a short-distance performer, be able to negotiate the longer journey with the same ease? Will this be a break for stayers like Sweet Xarah and La Tienne? Don’t miss the Pearl I Stakes – truly anybody’s race!
